GTA 6 Secrets & Easter Eggs: What to Hunt For First
Rockstar hides incredible secrets in every GTA. Here's how to find easter eggs, hidden references and mysteries in GTA 6 — and where to look first.
Half the magic of a GTA map is what Rockstar doesn't tell you about. GTA 6 will be packed with easter eggs, hidden references and genuine mysteries. Here's how to start hunting.
Where secrets usually hide
- Map edges and peaks. The highest and most remote points often hide rewards.
- Underwater. Wrecks, hatches and oddities reward divers.
- Interiors. Look for unmarked doors and out-of-place rooms.
How to hunt efficiently
- Explore at night. Some secrets only appear after dark or in specific weather.
- Listen. Audio cues — strange sounds, radio chatter — often point the way.
- Read the world. Graffiti, posters and signage hide clues and references.
The big mysteries
Every modern GTA has a flagship mystery (think Mount Chiliad). Expect GTA 6 to ship with at least one community-defining puzzle that takes weeks to crack.
We'll map confirmed easter-egg locations on our interactive map as the community discovers them after launch.
