According to a report from IGN, Bogue submitted auditions for an impressive 60 different parts in the upcoming game, only to receive complete silence from Rockstar Games in return.

It's a striking anecdote that highlights just how competitive and opaque the casting process for a title of this scale can be, even for actors with an established history in the franchise.

While Bogue's situation is specific to him, it does shed some light on how Rockstar approaches new entries in the series:
